Each verse I pen comes from God; the words rain down from above.
Each poem I fashion is to tell you of the Gospel of Jesus and His love.
I have been many places; I have done a lot of thing in this my lifetime.
I have been chosen to write my testimonies in expressions that rhyme.
A foul and angry darkness lived inside me; it was thick, black and cold;
It permeated my internal essence; it chilled me right down to my soul.
I walked blindly in the iniquitous shadows; no joy or tranquility within.
Nowadays all the joyfulness that resides in me; spills out from this pen.
.
For a long and hurting time; peacefulness and happiness were not mine.
I lived my life in excruciating wretchedness and sin for quite a long time.
I tried an assortment of things to; they didn’t bring to light calm to my life.
Nothing stilled the blistering pain that slashed my inner being like a knife.
In the darkness of sin I stumbled and fell into a never-ending, sinister hole.
I came dreadfully close to losing my life; to be frank, I nearly lost my soul.
I cried out in pain and misery to Jesus; comforter; the Savior that I knew.
I said,” Jesus I am going down in a big way; Jesus, help me, I need you!”
Without pause Jesus said that His love has forever been there; it is mine.
His is a love; passionate; filled with grace and compassion that is divine.
Each verse I pen is a witness to the love that the Father sent from on high.
I will write that there is no love that breeds peace when all things go awry.
As I put pen to paper to tell of my amazing transformation and deliverance,
Each verse I pen shall give my Father reverence with thanks and persistence.
Each verse I pen flows from my heavenly Father to my very appreciative soul.
There is much more of His righteousness and compassion that has yet to be told.
As God permits, I will pass on to you the complete remarkable true to life story.
After each verse I pen, I will make sure my Lord gets both the praise and glory.
My rhymes are not created only to read; they are not just to take pleasure in.
Each rhyme is to inform that through Jesus you can rendered be whole again.
