I dreamt of him
His eyes, hundred emotions
His lips, thousand sensations
Gently, I put this reverie upon my smiles.
I attempted the dream
Another day, drops of
Pearls felt my cheeks instead
Carefully, I put them in my dimples.
Next morn, I was crisscrossed
In satin ribbons of anxiety
Loosening those, I decided
To give them a home till your return.
I nudged my fat lexicon friend
To find a pleasing place
For my feelings to stay
In their unaffected, natural state.
My friend opened up himself
Together we stiffened our wrists
Numbed our fingers, clogged our
Nerves for my fears, tears and You.
At night, when I was near him
I showed my shelter in his absence
He scanned with his eyes of hundred emotions
He spoke with his lips of thousand sensations
“Dearest, you are Master in Language, You know YOU ARE.”
