It works!

It slowed down my pace
That's a Pacemaker's place.
It runs like a charm
But I can't lift my arm
For ten or more days.

 It seems that I'm wired
And I'm prone to get tired
So I try to stay placid
For ten or more days.

Those days now have passed.
They're behind me at last.
I've lived through the trauma
For ten or more days.

My new life is nice.
It's well worth the price
Of behaving myself
For ten or more days.

I can't resist a poem on bionic people--not when I'm walking around on my artificial hip and ticking like a clock from my mechanical mitral valve. I like your style and your wit.

My father in law had one put in a few years ago and he is feeling better than ever. God bless you, I was wondering where you have been. Hope you are feeling a whole lot better now....

Be always safe,
Karen

As one with a pacemaker myself I would give this welcome advice. Before long you will forget its there.
God Bless,
