Shoes, Glorious Shoes!

running shoes, or over running with shoes!

Jimmy my darling, Jimmy my life
Let’s talk this over before there is strife

This fetish I have started a long time ago
When I was a child in the town of Minetto

We weren’t rich, though I always wore a nice dress
It was a hand-me-down, but my shoes were the best

You’re the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me
So please listen carefully so that you can perceive

You’re someone special that I don’t want to lose
Just please stop griping about my number of shoes!

I buy them because they look great on my feet
Stiletto’s make my short legs look long and sleek

Red shoes, and black ones, and moccasins, too
Shoes! Of fabric and suede, every color and hue

Not to mention that my six pair of boots
Living in Florida don’t get very much use

Satin with pearls, or black sandals with studs
Some dyed to match my dresses and my gloves

Many sandals of leather and plastic flip flops
High Roman sandals are the cream of the crop

Oxfords, and snakeskin’s, and espadrille’s, too
White with silver fretwork, and red, white, and blue

Clogs made of wood, pumps, spectators, and wing tips
Mary Jane’s, or biker boots, buy it! if the shoe fits

Slippers and mules, shoes with sequins, and some for ballet
Walking shoes, running shoes, shoes of macramé, or crochet

Penny loafers, open toes, and toed shoes, platforms, and flats
Saddle shoes, and wedgies with straps that sling in the back

Shoes with laces, ribbons, velcro, or buckles
As long as they fasten with out any troubles

High button shoes, leather or lace, toes that are square, or point
Denim shoes, canvas shoes- Jimmy why is your nose out of joint?

What? I can’t believe what I’m hearing! Our minds don’t meet!
You simply don’t understand because I’m always in bare feet?

Just precious and a fine tale I can so relate to. Sounds like an extra room is in order to accommodate...

Be always safe,
