In the early morning hours
a drop of rain
falls on the window pane --
while I breakfast with you.

In the early morning hours
a ray of candle light
shines within my sight --
while I breakfast with you.

In the early morning hours
the raindrops trickle
as my toast I nibble --
while I breakfast with you.

In the early morning hours
I look across the table --
Thankful I can breakfast with you.

Wonderfully toasty thoughts that are as good as that early morning cup of Earl Grey and thickly buttered Hovis (can you tell I'm from England??!) straight from the grill. Extra-special when accompanied and appreciated by the person who you love to wake up and share these first daily moments with. A recipe for the start of a GOOD day! Bless you and thank you - and for visiting my page today. Kate xx
