If a Rainbow

Rainbows can lead to the best things in life. These lyrics are now a song!

If a Rainbow

If a rainbow

could bring me gold

I’d follow it till I grow old

high up in the mountains to the clouds

So much I’d learn above the crowds

Like life’s free pleasures

More than gold’s treasures

And of all of the possessions that I’d hold

The least important, would be gold

If a rainbow

Would bring me gold

I’d follow it till I grow old

To the valleys and the deep blue sea

So much freedom it bringS to me

Like paths I’d make

That others will take

And of all my possessions bought or sold

The least important, would be gold

If a rainbow

Would bring me gold

I’d follow it till I grow old

And when I'm seasoned with hair of gray

So much wisdom will have come my way

Like life’s free pleasures

More than gold’s treasures

And of all of the possessions that we'll hold

The least important, will be gold

The ethereal beauty of rainbows is reflected in this piece. Oft times the journey brings more rewards than the destination.
