you don't want to hear it,
let alone talk about it...

you wish I'd just drop it and
remain content with the time
that has already been spent
and find the good in it...

and, yes, my love, good exists
but the twist is where is the
entity that addresses the part of me
that is seemingly confused by
your refusal to even consider
meeting me half way?

every day to every question you
say the same thing over and
over again and I'm curious as to
how many times can you drive a nail
into the same gash without it
exploding or am I suppose to
implode and not expose what
could be the missing link in
all of this going back and forth
and pointing the finger as to
who to blame when things
just don't seem right?

isn't it a shame that we're
supposed to be in so much love,
so much bliss but can't
handle a simple discussion
on something like this?

so I'm curious if I'm furious
because in the midst of all
of this, I question if we are
escalating, if we are learning
to relate to each other on a
different level or if we are
just merely two creatures
of habit, putting up with
each other's b.s. tidbits because

we're used to it...
