No Pity-Parties Allowed

Fix your face my dear Child.
It’s time for you to put on a smile.
Lift your head and don’t you cry.
This pity-party has got to die.

Playing sad songs all day long.
Rehearsing matters that have gone wrong.
Time to change to a brand new tune.
Sing a new song and stop playing the blues.

Your Father knows just what you need.
He also sees your every deed.
So do not worry my dear child.
Your Father will reward you so please-

"Time to change to a brand new tune." I can definitely hear that and it seem an even greater saying with the turn in history that were witnessing as we speak. I think that all people of the U.S.A will be be coming to grips with the no pity party term because we're definitely in a hot mess right now but talk about it all day and criticizing the steps forward isn't going to get us to the promise land. I we as African Americans have been shown by Obama that we can't take this world likely and that nothing is given. Except for our God given purposes and talents. It's ultimately going to be our faith and dedication to get down to business. That is going to make us a better people, race, nation and country all together. Well I ain't gone preach anymore but I did want to say that your piece is ghetto fabulous! Take Care Sista.
