Because of you

May palate is drenched in decayed roses

And stung by the malice of its thorns.

My eyes are burning into mines of coal,

Twisting into the blackest set of pearls.

Your monotonous voice is soaking up my souls silhouette

Drowning it to the depths of darkness.

Your callous claws strangle the angelic boundaries of my beauty.

Your tight ropes of envy invade my every inch.

All that is left to breathe is your poisonous breath and I dare to take another

Grasp.

My inner sanctums flame has been smothered by your shadow

Leaving me unaware of your perilous presence.

This blindness has become my palace,

And I, the queen of its throne.

It is here that I shall protect and defend this fortress.

It is here that I shall pull the veil over my mask

And begin again.
