Queen October

October is a royal Queen

in dress of scarlet and gold,

she dances around the meadows

when nights are crisp and cold.

The maples flame with bright bouquet

which once were hues of green,

dahlia and goldenrod

bow low to greet their queen.

They'll sing a song soft and sweet

leaves will swirl and slowly twirl

and rustle beneath or feet.

Fabulous imagery here! I really enjoyed the way you depicted Fall's changing colours! Great job, Julie!
