Provokes honest stereotypical judgements and accepting ourselves for who we truly are....path to self contentment

AM I MY STEREOTYPE

             Do not accept a stereotype

That negates a phenotype

That who you are is in your genes

The way designers cut their jeans

Embrace your culture with your pride

The way a bridegroom views his bride

Your walk should always pride exude

Tornadoes in your path subdued

Do not deny yourself the knowledge

That we all came from global ice age

Each culture melts and breaks away

To join an iceberg doesn’t stray

I’ve just remembered but can’t spell

Ancestor’s name that was first cell

Science claims that we are one

So drop your baggage…let’s have !

There are so many different cultures and traditions and ethnicities in my family... to stereotype...well, it just doesn't make any sense as it denies the fact that we are each an individual.
