Give the Devil His Due

"...And I saw through the tricks of Old Six-Sixty-Six...." - Johnny Cash, from the song, "Redemption".

Every day, every way
Give the Devil his due
That way the dirty bastard
Will have nothing more on you

He may have Six-Sixty-Six
Branded bold on his forehead
I’d like to take the family brand
And stick it on his ass instead

Ol’ ‘Bub may well think
It’s very hot in Hell
He’d find it even hotter yet
If he’d come here and sit a spell

And when his red horny head
Broke out into a sweat
The sun would peek out from the clouds
And make it even hotter yet

To Hell with the Devil
And further to his demon band
Those bastards will be swatted down
By the Master’s Holy Hand

Even though I have blasphemed
My manners crude, my language rough
Don’t let me descend through the cracks
I hope I’m not quite vile enough

For you who haven’t any doubt
That you are of the Chosen Race
As you fall down to the Burning Lake
I’d love to see your face
