Go ahead and say I'm crazy, I hear music everywhere...,

I stand in awe sundogs
Formed by rising sun and ice
I’m amazed by double rainbows
Nature’s color palette twice

I have thrilled to see a meteor
Break up in the night time sky
Two pieces flaming to the Earth
I stood there stupefied

For some unearthly reason
That old butte keeps callin’ me
I have stood upon the apex
I have never felt more free

I have trembled at the pinnacle
As the sun climbed o’er the lake
Where lies the Earthly
Of the real Heaven’s Gate

All the wonder all around me
Leave’s me feelin’ mighty small
I tremble as I ask myself
Why am I here at all?

Go ahead and call me crazy
I hear music everywhere
As I marvel at Creation
It’s a cross that I must bear

I find this to be a beautiful poem and there is definitely music in this writing. I especially like the "Nature's color palette twice" "Why am I here at all?" Lots of sensitivity and awareness in this. ~~ Diana

i hear the same ever changing music...each more magnificent than the strains before. i too tremble at the majesty of what is laid before me each day...the unspeakably beautiful colors spread across my sky that grab my breath and squeeze almost a gasp from my chest. the music that lifts me right to the tops of giant pines as they thrash and sway in swirling winds...crescendos of mighty thunder bolts of dazzling light cracking splitting the darkness.

how lucky you are duke...how gifted with beautiful words that you put together in such a way for those that can't hear the music, can see it...almost touch it.
