Too bad we won't be around to hear it.

when all sounds of man are still

when all man made has blown away

the Roar of Birdsong will

be deafening every day

Duke, I respect this little work. So succinct, yet so full. "...sounds of man are still" -- what a concept (of which I can conceive). "Roar of Birdsong" absolutely observable in condensed, populated areas that we only see (and hear) on documentaries, but..... I think your introductory line "Too bad we won't be around to hear it." would be a wonderful last line to this one. ~~ DIana
