Smoke and Mirages

In the East a savage sun
Slowly rises red
To begin a blistering journey
To the smoke, its burning bed
And I know the season’s coming
‘Tis my favorite time of all
Lord of Hosts
Lord of All
Hear my call

A hot dry wind
Blows hard across the plains
Where just the parched of soul
And parched of spirit still remain
‘Tis the season to relive
That smoky time in Hell
Here I am
Here I stand
Ring the bell

Smoke and Mirages
Singing Sirens to beseech me
From these bonds I beg of
All creation, please release me
The Smoke and Mirages
Turn my whole world upside down
Here I am
Here am I
Hear my cry
