so why pretend to care.
Always in my nightmares,
I knew that you would go,
Yet I still feel the pain,
and the heartache so.
I wish that I could take your heart,
and hold it in my hands,
because there's an empty place,
where you no longer stand.
Maybe you would still be here,
if I had only tried but,
instead of telling you how I felt,
I just sat back and cried.
Now that moment out of time,
is for ever lost to me and,
the reason I'm so sad,
is a moment is all it will ever be !
