A Poem dedicated to my father; he continues to be a great dad!

A poem dedicated to my father.
A father isn't just a provider, a caregiver and an unconditional love. He's there to hold you and make you feel safe.

He's there to talk the train conductor into letting you wear his conductor's hat and sit in his seat so you can get a picture to last a lifetime.

A father is there to bring you out of hysteria when your best friend...your dog...was just killed by a car.

A father not only teaches you to ride a bike but he also takes the blame when you fall and skin your knee. He's there when a boy breaks your heart and you feel the world has come to an end. He's there when your best human friend hasn't called you in two days because you had a fight.

A father is there to tell you that you're beautiful even though you just had the worst haircut in your life. He's there to purchase the first ten copies of your newly published book....then hand them out to complete strangers. He deserves bragging rights!

A totally admired by his daughter.
