I can see them
As they walk on board
Strangers with an aim, a small sector of space
Mildly mannered with deliberateness on their face
And the thrusting of the bus
Making the ride that much more precarious
I can smell them with there uniqueness
Yet I don’t want them to approach me
Some smile with a hollow grin
Some don’t even make eye contact
I watch them as they shuffle off to there stop
The restless hurling to catch their feet
And the ones safely planted in their seat
Just a moment in time
For the day to day grind
Vulnerable, mysterious
The subtle distant link to humankind

A bus, train, plane, so many have that same blank stare behind a deliberateness in their quest, nicely written...

Be always safe,
