And Hope?

on fear...and of seeking, again our hope?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, when
The pain of all
Who beg for life, itself
As children cry, mothers die-- where
Is hope?
is she near?  close to dying,  gasping for breath...?
Now, when
Life is cold and
Emptiness surrounds us
Eyes begin to cloud and sigh--  where
Is hope?
is she there?  waiting to waken us, has she the strength?
Now, when
The pain is felt
The wounds still bleed within
Our fears and history's well of
Tears... Where?
she must care?
                      ... musn't she?
You know, I was feeling so sad today and then I came here and read this. This part especially: "Now, when
Life is cold and
Emptiness surrounds us
Eyes begin to cloud and sigh-- where
Is hope?"
I can certainly identify with the lost feeling and the sadness, but this is comforting and somehow makes me feel better. As always, from the heart (((mi-moo)) and you can't go wrong with that.
This speaks loudly in volume with it's poignant seeking questions and the tones behind it of images disturbing yet a good kind of wake up and smell the coffee before it disappears kind of disturbing. Never lose or forget hope it is always there...here. Excellant work!
((((Hugs))))
