Prelude to a Love Story
Underneath the waterfall
Far below the eagle’s call
Rises the beauty in us all
That snatches us away with its claws
Can man know love on his own
If they gave him advise
Would he even listen to the rocks or stones
Could he recognized if they spoke precise
Does a woman know
She’ll speak if she thinks she knows so.
Claiming protection from them all
Who ask for a sign but never saw.
***
Far above the clouds so high
A kingdom awaits for those that cry
Those that never ask or knew why
Yet claimed a home in the sky.
Can hearts really be changed?
The wicked seem to always survive
The consequences ruining our lives
The lies must die
For the Truth to be reborn
There must be trust in a home
Two’s always better than one
You shouldn’t be alone.
***
What the eyes see
And the ears hear
Will be repeated by the mouth
Like going North then turning South
Underneath the waterfall
Far below the eagle’s call
Rises the beauty in us all.
What will it take for us to pause.
