The Honorable Doctor

This was written while listening to a lecture in a class. The Honorable Doctor loved to talk about himself and no one gave a crap about what he was saying.

Listening

To nothing

Coming from his mouth

Importance of silence

Not knowing

He digs his own

Hole

And falls in

Standing on the edge

We peer down

He’s still talking.

Sounds like ego's synonym of diarrea of the mouth. You know, Dayvid, nothing ever comes from self-centered personalities. They all have boring lives just like they speak in monotone, the same pitch, the same bunch of crap. Now give us a saddlebag doctor who talks about turpentine remedies and the religion of 1800s apothecaries and we'll sit all day and listen. Good poetry and to the point.

Love and White Cloud or Angel Soft,
Sage
