And the V.A. says nothing's wrong: learn to live with it ...

Image (c) 2007, Karla Dorman

A nerve, trapped, [p]inched to
pursed lips of pain.  Sleep is
inter//rupted with each turn in
the bed.  Neck, croOked to
facilitate ease of movement.
Lightning !buzzes! down the
arm.  Hisses of thunder sound
with change of position.  Rain
drops from my eyes, as tears.
A storm rages!! as I am slowly
pulled apart, one.  Vertebra.  At.
A.  Time.  Past the break.point ...

Having had a pinched nerve myself, I can truly feel your pain. And I truly hope better days are ahead. I had to go to a chiropractor for a very long time, to ease mine.

a pinched never is a real thing if it's that... but I have found that neck pain and back pain is also real but sometimes no doctors can help. I hope you find help but I had to turn to special "Yoga" exercises to get help for my lower back (and it is helping) Still it's a struggle. I think if we didn't have to sleep it would be easier! You write about LIFE (pain & joy included!)
