I had Gamma Knife radiation on January 15th, 2010. My head hurt for awhile. I felt the angels all around me. I saw the radiation doctor last week and he said to just come back in one year and get another MRI. Things are going well right now. Please enjoy the acrostic poem!

Restless
Angels
Doctor's, three of them!
Idiots at times
All around me, Angels
Table to move me
Indescribable Pain
Oxygen
New technique for the future

I have never had radiation poisoning, but I know pain both physically and mentally. Recently the I had stents placed in my heart again. The pain I had since my frst heart attack in 2004 is finally gone. For now.
I also agree with Kate too. You wrote this very well, Becca and my prayers are with you that everything stays alright for ever.
May the Lord Bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and walk by your side. With love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister Barbie. |

| We thank God for new life-saving treatments and for doctors - even ones who appear "stupid" at times! - as each is a precious gift of healing in their way and instruments that God chooses to use to bring wholeness to body, mind and spirit. Becca, your fortitude is second to none, after all you've gone through. Yet, faced with an unrelenting situation, what else can we do? When God is all we've got we pretty soon get to realise that God is all we need - and then some! He will honour you for your path of pain and grace you with all you need to endure. May your youth and energies be restored as the eagles and your pains far removed. Glad to see the permanent abundance of Angels in this wonderful acrostic - may they continue to minister and bless you as and when you have need. What an awesome privilege to be so aware of their presence. Bless you and may you ever continue well, love and prayers, Kate xx |
