A poem/tribute to my Mom who passed away on March 5th.

 Goodbye Mom

No matter how stormy, dark or gray

Mom could always find blue sky.

Best friend, Grandmother, Mother, Wife

Caring, warm, loving, honest.

She was all these things.

And… I miss her.

Long walks with Dad.

A grandchild’s laughter.

Sing-along with the church ladies.

Flowers, puppies, rainbows, Christmas

She loved these things.

And…we miss her.

She’s gone now.

But so is her pain

She’s gone now.

But is forever in our hearts.

Somewhere—

She is smiling down on us.

Perhaps, humming Hope is a Star

Somewhere—

 A sunset …to remind us…

Mom is close…never far.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss, William! My mom passed away 2 1/2 years ago. Although writing our book about her helped ease much of the pain, I still miss her. May you find peace and comfort as you walk this path of letting go and grief.

Sorry to hear of your loss; you're in my prayers, William! She now rests in Jesus' Strong Arms! (I know the pain too well; lost my mom nearly 19 years ago, on March 17, 1990; she would have been sixty in May of that year!) May God bless you and comfort you in your time of grief!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(

My most sincere sympathies for your loss William. It's a wonderful tribute/poem you've written for her. When we lose our mother we lose our best friend. Remember, she's always as close as your next thought.
I wish you peace of heart,
Marcia
