|Stories and poems about "grandma" are the warmest ones there are. Your poem is beautiful and brings back many memories. As a child we didn't know what a blanket was. The only thing we had to use was those wonderful patchwork quilts. I recall neighboring ladies would spread their time between one household and another, as they sewed quilts as needed on a frame that hung from the ceiling. (In those days every household had one of those quilt frames it seemed.)|
