As all Mother's sure are and know what a wonderful feeling!

Since I have found a love so true and this I sure knew the first time I looked at you.

Placing you in my arms was such a charm and I knew I would always protect you from harm.

Although there were certain things that I could not shelter you from and wish with all my heart it would have been different for you not to witness.

When you grew older you became not only my daughter but a friend.

You were a shoulder to cry on many times and my strength in the end

Most of all you are my best friend.

Then I certainly turned heartache around and said goodbye to those frowns as I had every reason why.

Seeing their smile.

I'm a father four times over and a grandfather five times over and, though, maybe not having the emotions of a mother, I most certainly can relate to your feeling of love, Laura. Very well stated, my friend.
