We all have our sweet angels

My sweet little angel Desmond Thomas whom I am blessed to watch every Monday

Grandma’s Angel

They’re so special, they’re so sweet

Grandma’s angel at my feet

Soft sweet smiles of baby’s breath

Hold him closely to my chest

Little laughs and little coos

Babbles his own language too

New blue eyes to look at me

Fills my heart so tenderly

Snuggled up within my arms

Singing softly how he’s charmed

Everything to him is new

What great joy to show him too

Walking with, he slumbers  sweet

In my arms my angel sleeps

Dare I lay him down for now

No I won’t it’s not allowed

Oh he sleeps just fine alone

But Grandma wants to forever hold

Her sweet angel in her arms

They grow too quick, he has me charmed

As an outsider looking in I feel so much here. I can completely relate to your love and your connection. I once had that but it was taken from me. Hold on to him dearly and enjoy. I hope none ever lose this, for the loss is as great in inverse as the love. Touching write.

stay well and keep writing

Babies are so charming, whether you are their grandmother or not. It is too bad that they grow up so quickly.

Yes grandbabies can really do that to you. I have two and love every moment I spend with them.

Desmond is so precious, so adorable! You have every right to be proud!

Much peace, love and light,
