| Sounds like the perfect "Daddy" relationship, Belle, and you have been blessed to be grounded in such a love that taught you about your female worth and esteem. All little girls need to know of their Princess status from an early age and we first learn about our femininity from our Dads. I am glad to know of such from your words and this goes a long way to explaining why you are the the most lovely lady that you are! A fitting and personal tribute straight from the heart. xx |

| I cringe, but it has nothing to do with you or this poem. This poem is beautiful and you are beautiful for writing it and just because you are beautiful. No, I cringe because I wasn't anywhere near the father this poem writes about and that has been my cross to bear. |

As I miss my father, for he was gone and made his way to heaven when I was 4... Always our first love eh... He taught his wee daughter (me) love through holding and singing to me, something that will never be forgotten. To this day I remember everyone of them. My favorite was "My Bonnie lies over the ocean.
Thank you for posting this for I am sure many lost fathers all too soon in their lives.
Love and Light
