This is plain foolishness but sometimes foolishness is fun and fine therapy...

Take Your Pick

Don't be daft
Take a raft
It's the craft

Let's all vote
For the goat
On this boat

A ferry
Is merry
For Kerry

There's a drip
On this ship
What a trip

She's a star
There's a bar
In her car

Limousine
Haute cuisine
For Francine

There's a drain
On my brain
On this train

But of course
It's a horse
Could be worse

Caramel
The camel
For Hamel

There goes Zane
With his cane
On the plane

A wild crane
In a plane
That's insane

We're sorry
No dory
For Cory

A pirogue
For a rogue
With a brogue

On a punt
There's a runt
On the hunt

My friend Dan
Your sedan
Is a can

That is Chuck
In his truck
With a duck

Mrs. Boop
Has some soup
In her coupe

There goes Pam
She's a ham
On a tram

That's the Sarge
On a barge
With his charge

On her ass
Lady Cass
Needs no gas

Though I'm wont
If you don't
Then we won't (go places)

I like this poem. It is catchy and fun and funny too. Great mood lifter. Definitely brings the smiles.

I noticed that in the first stanza the word 'the' is underlined. Is that intentional?
