Now that it's my cold, and his cold is just about gone, it seems so much worse...poor me, sniff, blow.

Hack, caff, a-chew!

Adother tissue, please.

I'b havig trouble breathig,

ad I can't catch every sdeeze!

 Pretzels and ice cream; tissues and tea;

These are my comforts, poor sick little me.

This terrible cold didn't seem bad last week--

when it was Bill's, I thought it was meek.

Then just as I'd dreaded, infection attacked

and I found the sympathy that I had lacked.

"It's only a cold," was my mantra for Bill

although I gave TLC  while he was ill.

Now it's mine, and I'm feeling the brunt of its force

It's only a cold, but it couldn't be much worse!

So fetch me my afghan, and make me some broth;

Stay out of the way when I sneeze and I cough.

Provide all my needs like an old Mother Hen,

And remind me it's only a cold once again!

Poor Darling. Colds can be such miserable things. But what fun you made of the subject, and how you put yourself out there as a little less than perfectly sympathetic until it was you. This was a real sneazer pleaser. Be well fast, Kathy

Hi Connie,

Funny poetic song about the common cold.
My Pastor has not been sick in many years.
He advises us not to claim it, whatever the illness is.
Most of the time we can pray our sickness away. It is amazing!

So you are healed. Believe it. Happy get well day! Amen

Peace, good health, love and blessings,

John MD

I try to stay away from those darn things, and a lady told me how to keep colds and flu at bay. I'm saying to myself, tight, where've I heard that before. Still, what the heck, worth a shot so I took her advice and that has been three years ago and I haven't had a cold since I started on the remedy. When you feel like it send me a message and I will pass it along to you, I'm a firm believer. I have emphysema, weak lungs so you now I'm susceptible. Let me know if you want to try it, it is a simple thing to do, and I'll tell you what the deal is.
