Human touch when it is delivered in its most sincere form is one of the most important factors in the development of a healthy body, mind and soul. If you have someone to hug…then do so and just watch how love grows.

A Simple Hug

Oh Just the simple touch of a caring heart,

a simple warm hug to lift away the dark.

Forlorn days are now multiplied by lonely nights.

I Sure could use a real hug to make things right.

I know… oh how I know that in time it gets better…I know this much,

Yet there are sometimes when one needs, oh really a sincere heartfelt touch.

For one like me to go from a hundred or more sweet hugs a day to none,

has left such a empty, oh so empty place in a heart already undone.

Never in all the days of this life that by the grace of God I have lived,

Oh never have I felt so alone and abandoned to the darkness where nothing gives.

Only once time a day do I see a smile that from the east comes my way.

It comes in the early morning from where pretty butterflies play.

Thank God for little things…but Lord…I sure could have used a hug today.

His hug is there...in the whisper of the breeze and the sun upon your shoulders...and, of course...on butterfly wings.
