A Mellow Mood
By La Belle Rouge

a certain scent
a mellow mood
his voice intrudes
on her solitude

his words of love
now a memory
she knows he’s there
though she cannot see

his opened arms
passion fire in his eyes
love-look on his face
that never dies

a long forgotten song
and he appears again
to dance with her
with desire akin to sin

though he’s not there
in that solitary place
if she closes her eyes
she still sees his face

she feels his hands
his breath, his lips
still traces his lines
with her fingertips

From the breath of memories whispered into a lonely heart. The arms of love reach from the beyond to embrace and hold forever dear, the tears gently forming in the eyes of "a mellow mood". Belle, your are pure magic with words of romance my dear friend. Love and peace to you. Jon Michael
