|The tragedy on both sides of this equation moves me deeply, Don Juan. Yet you breach this heart-aching chasm with your soul-stirring and soul-baring expressions of longing, empathy and compassion. I love the point of view expressed here - so well and so tenderly. Wonderful and sensitive artistry in your words. Thank you. Kate xx|

You always have that knack to make a woman feel as though you are writing about her as she reads your stunning poetry.
I agree 100 percent with John. However, being a woman, I have to say, that if you feel that you are not ready to match her depth, you are mighty mistaken, you have the depth of emotion any woman would die to have in their life. So much of this poem, vibrates deeply within my being.
Lovely, lovely, poetry, DJ at his best....
Much peace, love and light,

|"...she could not offer her surrender to
anyone who could not match her desire
and parallel the beauty of her spirit..."
for me, these lines, DJ, are not by coincidence
at the centre of the poem, they are the central
message, the crux, and to 'match her depth'
as you say later was a challenge many men aren't
ready for; the compassion - not condescension -
in your final line touches me.
This is fine, very fine.

|AH...DON, YOU HAVE PRESENTED THIS ISSUE SO ELOQUENTLY. WHAT WISDOM TO KNOW...THAT THERE ARE INDIVIDUALS(MALE AND FEMALE)WHO SEEK AN 'UNORDINARY' KIND OF LOVE. AND THEY ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR PERSONS SUCH AS YOURSELF WHO ACCEPT THEM AS THEY ARE...AND MOVE ON. THE...'LONLINESS'...? HMMMM... PERHAPS EVEN THEIR INTERPRETATION OF THIS IS QUITE DIFFERENT FROM WHAT YOU THINK. WELL DONE, JUAN, AND ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...
