Furball...for Rufuz

Nibbles on his daddy’s hand,

Likes to on a picnic table stand,

Looks to others most grand,

The best to me in all the land…

Nicknamed Stinky & Muppy,

He is his daddy’s puppy,

His dad an old hippie, not a yuppie,

He is a great dog, not a guppy…

Great he is on forest walks,

With all the animals he talks,

Though runners he does chase,

The world for him is a great big race…

He does shed most abundant,

Each time he does, it is the same, redundant,

Loves the winter winds & snow maybe on the way,

The old furball would be good at pulling Santa’s sleigh…

ED - SURE, SURE, blame it on the poor, innocent DOG!

Just like those nasty CROTCH CREEPERS YOU LEAVE!

RUFIE - SANTA will GET HIM! TK.

You nicely mix humor and the special love we have towards the animals who have trained us. Bravo!

Great tribute to your best friend. Thank you for sharing but you can keep the furballs, I have enough to last a lifetime from my kitty Kay.

Great tribute to your beloved Rufuz who has become a star on this site. I will look for him at Christmas and put a bisquit under the tree just for him, if my big horses don't get it first. Love and hugs, Bonnie

Old good Rufie did pull Santa sleigh...you just don't remember because all your time was around Mrs. Claus and for that we all three brothers were kicked from the North Pole?
Talking about that, you hear those over the "border" telling everybody that Santa is a canuck, are they already drunk with eggnog?
