Find your mountain in life and visit as much as you can...

Not finished with that mountain, I need to climb again.
I need a push from you, my long and trusted friend.
I need the verbal challenge, those thoughtful words that teach.
I need the vision ladder for steps that help me reach.

You have the magic power, that lights up all my dark.
You drive the thinking engine, providing the big spark.
Your schedule and my timing, both are out of sync.
I need to climb the mountain, to help me stop and think.

Your seasons always changing, the summers missed my ride.
Your winding path to glory, you tremble deep inside.
The timing needs to change, so I can journey back.
I need to climb the mountain to get us both on track.

Oh my friend, could I ever use a trip up that mountain. You amaze me with your talent, for writing words that always touch my soul.

Can only imagine the beauty of that mountain and why you would miss it so very much.

Make the time my friend, hop on that bike, and throw caution to the wind. Ride like there is no tomorrow....and then come back refreshed and ready to write - to touch your readers once more.

Superb poem and photo, Michael! It gets ever harder to climb in some seasons, but as long as the will is there you will find the way!;-)

Awww ... poor Ed. In the midst of his sand dunes, may there be a gorgeous oasis! Michael, I hope everyone gets to read this poem, for it is a striking piece of tight poetic structure, and your mountain is wearing a hat; stylin! Beautiful work!
