Perception

View life through troubled eyes,

See a world full of twisted lies.

Perhaps life is a bit over rated,

Or simply slightly jaded.

What one man has always wanted,

Another man takes for granted.

We get so caught up in what we want,

Missing out on what we’ve already got.

You really are the exception,

It’s only a matter of perception!
