When I decided to write this poem about character traits of the Libra woman, I had our most loved and exceptionally talented poetess, Victoria L. McColley in mind. I don’t know her personally but reading her poetry I feel exalted every time and can see the depths of her beautiful soul. She is most receptive and sensitive towards beauty in life. So knowing her from the AD combined with doing some research on Libra woman characteristics, I came up with this poem which I hope is mostly true for her and other Libra woman.

She was born when the Sun was in Libra,
Charming, beautiful, full of vibrant air,
Being a child of Venus she shines in the heavens,
Enjoys art and music, admires loveliness,
Goddess of Love blessed her with fairness,
With her elegance and grace
She floats like a princess.
She is an artist, musician or gifted poetess.

Sensual, passionate, dazzling and seductive,
Mostly “In love with love”,
Sex is exalting and flavored with tenderness,
Expert in the art of enchanting men
With her alluring smile and enticing gentleness.
She is admired as the jewel of the Zodiac,
She is the Goddess of fertility and abundance,
Our lovely Empress!

Being born under the sign of Scales
She strives for balance and harmony,
Peace and success,
Justice and quality,
Sees clearly both sides of the argument.
Sociable lady, born as a natural diplomat
She is tactful and concerned with equality.

Charm, beauty and partnership are the keys…
She will lend her supporting hand when in crisis.
Energies are focused on melding with other people,
She is best in her personal relationships:
Affectionate, sentimental, warmhearted,
 Naturally optimistic, idealist and romantic,
Searching for intelligent and adventurous man,
And that perfect companion that can enhance her image
And satisfy her whim,
Only exists in her dreams.
Also attracted to older and richer men
With experience in the art of pleasing a woman,
Prefers romance to sex,
Her lover is expected to provide her with the best.

Libra Moon accentuates her keen mentality,
In her character refinement and grace can be traced.
Any sign that has Libra Moon above
Is polished with charming manners
And has an instinct for fairness.

The dark side of the Moon creates indecisiveness,
Brings out the laziness,
She becomes self-centered, frivolous,
A temperamental and envious mistress.

What a marvellous mirror in which to see myself, a true Libran woman if ever there was one.

"Searching for intelligent and adventurous man,
And a perfect companion that can enhance her image
And satisfy her whim,
Only exists in her dreams". This could not be more accurate
and...
I used to be indecisive - but now I am not so sure...

I knew it, I never doubted that she has a dark side ha, but let me say it is in all things, the smallest fraction of her most shining being. A most artful expression of a zodiac sign, especially for a lady like Victoria. Blessings! Jasmin Horst

Quality poem.
