Sun and Moon Lights of Love

There is a love that glows
like the sun, on the dark
side of the moon...

It is as beautiful as
an ebony jewel that
enhances the golden
light of a sun's
goodnight...

It romances the senses
and makes of love a
dance of desire glowing
with the sun's fire...

There is beauty in midnight
that tends to excite, and
all should experience it's
delight...

If love imbues the heart
and soul, it needs to be fed
to be kept whole...

Like a black orchid that
so intrigues and pleases
love may be in the deepest
black hole of the cosmos,
and still sing it's beautiful
tune to the moon...

When we don't know where love is... the imagination helps! A black orchid, a black hole... still looking for it! :)

I love the imagery and the sentiments and emotions that it awakens within me as I read, Eileen. Thank you for sharing this lovely gift... ...and thank you also for commenting on my latest limericks. With regards to the photo, I was nineteen at the time. I was a "late bloomer." ☻ Love and best wishes,

I concur completely with the wonderful descriptions and nuances of this thing called love, my friend, having just in the last six months been victimized by it.

You took on love and gave a very good account of it, and yourself. Yes.
