Dog House View

Living larger than life
I am a dog and to the
wonderment of no flees

Under the big azure blue
with soothing sunsets and
gasping sunrises to share
sometimes comes a wind to
wag my tail with a cause
to romp and play outside
my house from just a pat
on my head

Stroke me if you will
then you can feel the

love to be continued

For I am and will be your
loyal companion with
every heartbeat until I'm
called to that rainbow
bridge crossing into
doggie heaven

This rather stands on its head the meaning of "dog house" that is familiar with most guys these days. You have captured the essence of man's relationship with his best friend.

As one who is often in the Dog House for bringing yet another one home, I liked this very much. And that picture is dog-gone good!

Dogs are by nature gregarious, when we treat them as part of the family, they think we are their pack. Your poem brings out the best in everything dog. Your picture brings out the creative trying to be a dog.

Whoops, I'm in the doghouse again!

Cute poem of delightful doggie canter. Keegan loves this house.
He says "dogs should only live there." A smile on his face and mine.

this faithful friend.
