My muse still on leave,

My mind mostly a blank,

Crying am I on my sleeve,

And you can take that to the bank…

Still I do get ideas to of write,

Then I take them when they do come,

Sometimes it seems it is a great big fight,

Wish I had the thought processes of some…

Still I do plod along,

Sometimes though I have to wonder,

Am I in writing very strong,

Most times it seems I make many a blunder…J

The muse tends to be an elusive creature sometimes....at least you're writing about it....we all go through this...times when it seems nothing inspires...but eventually the muse returns....

I get out of of this that you are a better writer than the one lolly gagging around in the verses. So good that you had me going here. Pieces of eight and your poems, good as gold.

Sometimes I think we just need to tell the lazy muse to get lost and sign on a new one...

I appreciate this poem along with the illustration! I was just telling my daughter that people (not meaning anyone on this site) will never cease to blow my mind and that's why there are just bits and pieces in it.

An empty mind is a terrible thing to waste and you didn't. Even a wasted mind has merits if you feed it enough cookies. Patrick

Many a blunder, our own personal thunder, let lightening strike, you put up a good fight! (Laughing)

You are so talented Ed, they still obviously flow for you. You have marvelous humor as I have told you before. You bring light to many!

It will come, for if not for your humor and your excellence in writing there would not be all the smiles you have caused globally.

Love and Light
