"I have learned this at least by my experiment: if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."
- Henry David Thoreau

Look onto me, there is none else
Great potential, inhibited by the error
of thought, word, and deed
broken promises and probable intent
Open myself to the truth
The sun and wind flushes me out
then truth prevailed
My life is not hidden from God
no leaf unturned
Who can now tell me what was taken or given
then received?
I knelt in prayer to the mountains
fog covered my fear and thoughts
Helped and delivered from midnight darkness
I am strong for the battle
a free agent with the power of choice
Life reappraised, values and prosperity
I believe big,
Pray big,
Think big,
and built a satisfying life
committed in person to solemn height
With a will to fight.

I believe big,
Pray big,
Think big,
Marvelous, my friend! And I love that Thoreau quote, too. |
