There is a special line of communication between the Lord and grandmothers. It's their love, devotion and determination that makes the difference. This is dedicated to my late mother Stella Granata Garcia. She was the best grandmother ever. Please click on the link at the bottom to hear this poem as a song.

A Grandmother's Prayer

A Grandmother's prayer is a very special gift
Her faith is always hopeful and she will never quit
The problems we think are new, she's seen them come and go
A Grandmother's prayer is worth more than we'll never know

If there's a child that sick or a loved one that's strayed
You can expect an answer 'cause on your behalf she prayed
With a faith that can move mountains her family is first priority
And on her knees she goes into battle
Tearing down walls and principalities

A Grandmother's prayer is a very special gift
Her faith is always hopeful and she will never quit
The problems we think are new, she's seen them come and go
A Grandmother's prayer is worth more than we'll never know

How can one little lady affect lives that way
Is there some mystery to her unwavering faith
He always seems to listen, her answer is on the way
And He's standing right beside her as she kneels down to pray

A Grandmother's prayer is a very special gift
Her faith is always hopeful and she will never quit
The problems we think are new, she's seen them come and go
A Grandmother's prayer is worth more than we'll never know
