Remember the old movie "What's It All About, Alfie?" - starring Michael Caine.
"Questions, Questions, Everywhere ...
and not a Drop to Drink ..."
The Pic is Hiroshima 1945 ...
a Terrible form of ZAP!

‘CLOSER TO TRUTH’
A Review:
© - Tom Hyland - 6/17/11
Robert Lawrence Kuhn Is The:
Narrator, Searcher, Questioner of this Series.
A constant, ever-searching Crusade
of Intelligent Questioning of:
God - the Universe - Space/Time Continuum -
The ‘Big Bang ‘ Theory -
Nature - Physics - Mathematics - Chemistry -
Gravity - Mass - Matter - Energy ...
Past - Present - Future -
Meaning - Purpose - Intelligence -
Understanding - Science - Theology -
“What’s it All About, Alfie?”
While each Show usually Concentrates
On a Specific Topic - Most, if not All,
Seem to Always Revolve Back to Related Complexities.
Dr. Kuhn Travels the World ...
Meeting and Questioning Every so-called ‘Expert’-
From Every Field Imaginable.
Who? What? Where? Why? How?
Do - “Great Minds Think Alike?”
He “Seeks Meaning in The Cosmos”
If you enjoy Really ‘High-Falluting’ Discussion -
And can deal with Logic, while subduing Emotion -
You should Watch this Series.
It is Televised, and/or Re-Broadcast
On MPTV - Maryland Public Television,
And usually appears in the Morning,
Around Nine or Ten A.M.
I have watched quite a few Shows,
Throughout the past couple of Years -
Purely by Chance, flipping through Channels.
Each Time, I have been Impressed with the Quality!
The ‘Age-Old’ Questions of Mankind:
‘Who Am I?’ - ‘What is My Purpose?’
‘How Does it All Work?’
‘Who or What Created It All?’
Several years ago, I Postulated
Some of my own Theories, like:
“What if - It is All simply Germination?”
GERMS - from Microbes to - Macrobes?
From the Vast Macrocosm -
Down to the Miniscule Microcosm -
ALL is the SAME!
Atomic Particles held together by Magnetism!
Atoms, like Universes, with Electrical Charges -
Positive Protons, Negative Electrons, Neutral Neutrons -
All Spinning at High Speeds -
Around a Core, or Nucleus!
From an Electron-Microscope to Study Microcosms -
To the Huge Hubble Telescope to Study Macrocosms -
Individual Particles, Racing at High Speeds -
But held Together in their Respective Universes!
All Encapsulated Within a Vast Empty Space!
Magnetic Poles - North and South -
Electric Charges - Positive and Negative -
Opposites Attracting - Sames Repelling -
Ad Infinitum ... Unless and Until ...
ZAP!
A More Powerful Electric Charge Interferes!
Perhaps a Simplistic Version of:
E = MC2 ?
I Wonder?
Kind of makes One Ponder:
Were The Norsemen Right?
THOR ... God of Thunder ...
Wielding a THUNDERBOLT?
“CLOSER TO TRUTH?”
What do You Think?
Surmise?
Assume?
Believe?

Your theory is better.....Sometimes the "experts" don't descend from their castles in the air to know what it is all about.

This would explain Geritol. Iron in the blood holding brain cells together (or apart)in such a fashion that would facilitate the thunderbolt splitting the brain halves, emotion and logic, leading to the inevitable conclusion that Mutual of Omaha was a front for recycling old beer cans before aluminum was popular. The show sounds interesting. I'll keep an eye out for it. Patrick |

Now you've gone and done it; now I'll be singin that song all day long, drivin my mutts and spouse nuts!
So what's it all about, Alfie? (And Wifey, and Doggies?)
As sure as I believe there's a heaven above, Alfie,
I know there's something much more,
something even non-believers can believe in.

Tom,
So many things we all ponder and never find the answers to. Wonderfully written.

Universes within universes. Quite intriguing entirely possible. Enjoyed the romp through science.

I think I am a bit younger than you and I don't always "get it."
But you always grab my attention... ...I know that is good.
Thank you, my friend TK...
Love and peace,
