I WONDER, DO CATS GET BRAIN FREEZE?
You know the feeling…that sharp pain that shoots straight
up through the roof of your mouth and into your sinuses and right up into your brain?
It generally happens when you eat ice cream
or guzzle down a frozen drink.
It soon goes away as you thaw out.
Our cat, Chicklet will jump up onto the tv table
At the side of my desk and guzzle down
My glass of ice water until he cannot
Reach anything but the ice and yet
That little pink tongue
Hits the ice cubes at what seems like
90 miles an hour, leaving deep indentations
the size of his tongue in the cubes.
So I wonder, do cats get brain freeze?
