His Spirit

I looked around the corner

For there was

Always something to see.

New faces and old

New games to be played.

Waiting, Waiting just for me.

The excitement overwhelmed me

With the anticipation

Of the match of wits.

For each tried to be the best

In each game that was played

And one always succeded.

Alas I'm but a player

But it was fun all the same

Always, always trying.

It was part of youth,

That formed me as a man.

Knowing I'm but a part

Of God's majestic plan.

I never lose sight,

Even though clouds

Come my way.

For God placed in

My heart His Spirit,

That remains to this day.

George, there is nothing greater to sustain us in this earthly journey of our spirit, housed in a fragile human vessel - I wish you love and peace my dear friend - Jon Michael

I really like this George. It's the spirit within us that gives us a longing for life, for excitement, to learn, and for what's to come.
