A few years ago, the group, Chicago, sang the beautifil "Color MY World", which ended with "color my world with hope of loving you."
Sometimes your hopes are fulfilled. Mine have been.
After recent cataract surgery, the world looked brighter. As I thought about the real reason I sensed new colors eveywhere, this poem emerged.

The Colors of My World

Are you the arching rainbow,

Captured for a fleeting moment

In the prism of tiny droplets?

Or are you the prism

That creates the refraction

And makes the colors dance?

There are no answers, I know,

In such remote reflection,

But of one thing I am sure.

I need not search for rainbows:

My life shines light and bright

Because of the colors within you.
