Nova Scotia Splash

Picture I took at Funday Trail Campground this summer overlooking Atlantic Ocean.

Nova Scotia Dream

Sinking orb drenches the horizon

Pastel shades of purple pink galore

Ocean sunset on a Nova Scotia shore

Makes me think of you once more

Light breezes from the Southwest

Tickle memories of love afar

Each memory a star in the night sky

Fireflies captured in a mason jar

Cold waves chill bare feet on sand

A smell of driftwood fire in the air

Shiver knowing summers almost over

While I still miss you here…

a beautiful picture Felix - portending the advance of winter's intentions upon the land - summer loves will be ended and the sea and sand will lose their romantic beckoning to lovers young and old -- I wish you love and peace my friend - Jon Michael

That's one way to get a good sunset on the East Coast! You bring back fond memories of when chilled weather came and the world turned into beauty just before the cold breath of winter. Thoughts of ones missed came clear.

First Fee what a beautiful picture you captured
on film. It caught all the deep colors of love
and you used this wonderful photo to describe
all within you and your thoughts of her. Just
lovely, and I wish she was there for you too.

Love that last line. The poem has a flare for misdirection which I found wonderful.
