A bit of silliness and childish romance... this is something I wrote when I was only about 15 years old, but it has stuck in my brain all these years. It has never been posted or published anywhere, and has until now resided only in my brain, and in an aging, yellowed notebook....
A Girl and a Boy
A girl with springtime in her eyes,
a boy's with winter's snow;
a girl who craved a boy to hold,
a boy who didn't know.
Day by day they wandered past;
she stared and he ignored.
I cannot tell you why it was
this boy that she adored.
I only know her wish came true
years and years away;
for now she's married to the boy
who noticed her one day.

We don't know if it really ever came to be but the poem is very nice. Just like a boy though in my time, at fifteen, we never had a clue. (lol) Peace, Love and God's Blessings Always, Paul.
