They say

It takes a village

To raise a child

But I say

It takes a caring hand

And lots of love

And even one person

Can make a difference.

They say it takes a village

To raise a child

But I say it takes a lot of love

And a caring heart.

They say it takes a village

I say more in the village better start stepping up

Because the children hold our future in their hands.
