And here's a poem about a wonderful little visitor at the beach in St. Andrew's this summer...

He’s not an ordinary cat,
A peculiar cat is he.
Roams around the beach all day,
Getting all his meals for free.
A cute little orange tabby
He’s the nicest kind of fellow,
Makes friends everywhere he goes,
And really is quite mellow!
He came to visit us one day,
At our cottage on the shore,
Made himself right at home,
When he stepped inside the door.
We shared our breakfast with him,
And cheerfully did he eat!
Then he climbed upon the bed,
And was soon fast asleep!
We wondered where he came from,
And if he had a home,
We guessed the precious little guy,
Had no choice but to roam.
He slept for a couple of hours,
We even heard him snore!
Then he awoke and wanted out,
And raced to the house next door!
An old man in the garden,
Gently cuddled the cat,
Told him he’d looked all around,
Wondering where he was at!
The kitty purred and nuzzled his face,
And it didn’t take too long,
For us to figure out our guess
About the cat was wrong!

What a marvelous story about one marvelous little feline. My dearest cat ever was an orange tabby I named Buddy, and he delighted me with his endearing ways for almost 20 years.

Just a vagabond feline who knows where the handouts are and is not bashful in striking out for them. Caught a little snooze, time to go back home and take his punishment and it sounded like the old gentleman punished him in the time-honored manner. Good for him. Good for you. Best of all Three Cheers fer the cat!

most enjoyable poiece Annabel
I once foune a female Tabby, took her in
broke my heart when she escaped, she returned a few weeks later
dirty smelly and "pregnant" I took her in once again
she gave me 4 beautiful kitten, because I treated her like a princess
ans spared nothing for her health, after the kitten were weened
The slut escaped once again, when she returned, "pregnant needless to say, this time my wife chased her away with her means of transportation, "The Broom".........I never saw "Cleo" ever again
Love & Peace be with you

Cute, cute tail; of the Little Orange Tabby Cat," that is. I've never had a cat and, to be honest, simply stated, I am not a cat person, although, to be honest, simply stated, I have seen a few cats that I thought cute as can be and think this one, obviously is.
Your friend, Mark
